Tom, Susan is correct. Matter of fact, they were doing pink and green tile bathrooms in the 50's. We rented a duplex (way back) that had bright, deep pink and green tiles; it about drove me crazy until I found a plaid fabric w/those colors and more to make a shower curtain out of. But back then, the colors were not soft, subdued. Your bathroom is beautiful! The shades of pink and green are perfect. The mosaic pattern really ties it all together nicely. -
Oh, don't get me wrong, I am sure that there was lots of pinks and orange tones going on. I can only go by what colors I remember as a child growing up in Larchmont, NY where most homes were on the conservative side. Lots of tudor, colonial and victiorian styles. -
I am with Susan S and I would join her in here all day, coffee pot and all. This is so refreshing and clean and soft...I am just loving it!!! Open the window and let the birds sing. the tile and sink are soooo gorgeous! oh.... we bought a house that had pink fixtures....it never bothered me , I always figured I could work with it and I still can! -
Beautiful, love the round tub! -
Love the shower...the sink area not so much...looks a tad too busy... -
Love, love, love the tub shower. It looks like the steam showers - they are so wonderful. -
I also have a green bathroom with accents of rust. It's a forest theme. I love bringing the outdoors indoors. -
Bernice H - with all due respect, I love you, however, I AM NOT GETTING INTO THE SHOWER OR BATH TUB WITH YOU!! LOL Now, we can sure sit in there all day and drink coffee, we can even play in the water. But thats all!! Would you like cream & sugar?? -
My thoughts are flying all over with that last comment..... -

Oh, Tom Dieck / TRD Designs Ltd. you are dealing with the Rosies. You never know what they will come up with but I know them so I will tell you they do love your beautiful bath design. Sometimes I must translate. -
Tom Dieck / TRD Designs Ltd. - HA!!! My "good friend" Sherrie S - is simply buttering YOU up!!! Actually, Tom and I had a rather lively discussion over on one of Julee's posts and shooting Bambi's!! But, thank you Sherrie for reassuring him on our behalf!! LOL -
Susan S no problem Susan. I just thought he might miss some of the nice comments about his work because one can get lost on their own posting when Rosies arrive and take over. -
Sherrie S LOL!!! -
No shades at the window? You can't run around nude after your shower... -
love what you did, it very original, especially the bathtub! Great Job!!! -
Diane, shades are not needed. they live on the water and have awesome privacy -
Where did the shower come from? -
