French Knob Hanger

A knob hanger is transformed into an oh so french shabby chic beauty with some Annie sloan chalk paint and a french stencil.
I used Annie Sloan chalk paint for this particular project. I painted it in Duck Egg and used Old white for the designs. The outer part is painted in Annie Sloan Coco.
I used a stencil and painted the words on. I then lightly sanded the entire knob hanger to give it a little vintage shabby chic feel. I finished off the entire piece by waxing it with dark wax and clear wax.
The knobs already came with it but I can imagine creating one from scratch perhaps using some pallet wood and then choosing your own knobs to finish it off. Visit my blog for more!
