How to repair door seal on Amana refrigerator?

The Amana refrigerator that came with the mobile home I bought 4 months ago has a loose seal on the door. It appears the magnet inside the door gasket has been removed. The loose seal creates water condensation on freezer box in refrigerator. It has been suggested that I could slip a magnetic strip inside the hole where the other one was removed. Anyone have any experience with this type of repair?

    You can buy replacement refrigerator door gaskets. I think you'd want to replace the whole thing. Just do a search for "Amana refrigerator door gasket", then you'll find some replacement parts sites, and when you do, put in the model number, and you'll be able to find one.
