    Knife blocks are a bulky, ugly kitchen necessity, I really like mine now that it has some color. Just be sure to seal the paint with wax or poly so it lasts.

    What a brilliant idea. I never really liked my black one, but also never thought about painting it. Thanks for sharing your idea, and I think I will paint mine in lemon yellow.
