Would love to know the process for the mosaic patio

I love doing mosaics - but have done only indoor projects with broken pottery, etc. I love the outdoor patio idea, and I have a great need to replace the really awful patio I have. Would you share the steps involved? Thanks so much, Diane

I have not done any type of flooring mosaic outside, only walls so far. I have a few projects planned for spring though. Here's a tutorial that might help. The writer, Jeffrey Bale, does some incredible work.... http://www.finegardening.com/create-pebble-mosaic.
