How to Make a Pouffe

A Pouffe is a footstool or low seat. They've become quite popular lately, you can find them in home decor shops and even at Target. Now you can create one all your own, customized just for you with the fabrics and details you choose!
Making your own pouffe doesn't have to be intimidating - it's not nearly as hard as it may look when viewing a finished pouffe. It's really quite simple and can be made pretty quickly if all the supplies are on hand.
The options are endless - you can use any fabric. Vintage Grain Sacks make beautiful pouffes, as well as using drop cloth fabric and detailing it with ribbon or lace.

Pouffes are filled with bean bag fill - the fill can be bought at wal-mart online, amazon, and other places - doing a search for the best price on fill is a good idea!
