IKEA Inspired Shelves

These crate shelves were inspired by shelves seen on the IKEA blog. I used inexpensive wooden crates from Michael's and painted the insides of them bright orange. Stacked, they add some fun color to a boy's room! Get the full tutorial at Dukes and Duchesses {link in profile}.

Can also stack them creatively on cement blocks (painted or not) for storage in between the crates.

I wanted to do this until I went to Michaels....those cheap crates were $14.99....to expensive for me....
