Outdoor Living Ponds & Water Features

Finishing the summer project, just in time for Fall

Well I started out weeding some hills around our gazebo...then hubby and I finished off with pergola's, waterfall with ponds and fish, a bridge or 2...a lot of stairs and pathways. Oh yes and let's NOT forget the firepit! I love the yard and I am in love with the fish!

Wendy - gosh, what do I say? You and your husband really worked your butts off getting this enormous undertaking ready! Hats off to you both my friend - you did an absolutely awesome job!! I thank you for letting us share this journey with you - I remember waaaay back when you started this. This was an enormous job to be accomplished in such a short amount of time but you did it and it looks like it's been there for years!! I know you must have collapsed when everything was finally done and ...»
overwith, the last guests left and you and hubby hopefully had a chance to have a quiet evening - maybe sit in the gazebo and have a glass of wine together, just reflecting!!

It's still a little early here in the mountains. A LOT of rain and cool weather. I have basically just been cleaning and popping in new, fresh plants. General weeding and spring planting. I will post more pictures a little later. I always work on improving an area, but nothing the size of last Fall! I am looking for a Cherokee rose if anybody can tell a girl on the NC, Ga, Tn border where to find one. So far no luck. Daughters pet died and she desperately wants to put a Cherokee rose over ...»
the grave. How about you Donna, any new stuff to share? Always looking for new ideas!
