Makeover Mantel during lunch!
Although it seems like I paint a lot, painting "fixed" pieces generally makes me a bit nervous. I am so happy and relieved, that after two coats of chalk paint, gentle distressing and an hour at lunch I was able to transform my mantel into a beautiful piece.
