What's the most economical way to convert a tub to a walk in shower

We'd like to get rid of our tub while keeping the existing faux marble walls and have a walk in shower. We're not getting any younger and would like to eliminate stepping over the side of the tub. Basically we need advice on the area from the tub down and blending it with our existing walls. Any suggestions?

they have a new kit to do that.Not sure of the exact name,but they sell it at either lowes or Home Depot.Looks pretty easy to do.
