It has to be on a sturdy post. the house siding is cedar and its coco brown.

I love the post on our mailbox and the small garden underneath....basically maintenance free that comes back every year! I would love to have hubby build me a square wooden mailbox and paint the whole thing. I love to decorate it for the different holidays and a slightly slanted surface would work better for that!

It can't be very expensive as my Dad pointed out to me . The kids in the country have a tendency to destroy peoples mailboxes.
