Curbside Dresser Cures Yard Sale Blues

I love yard sales, but during the winter months in Iowa, there aren't any. I miss going to them and hunting for treasures. But, a few weeks ago, my yard sale blues were cured for a little bit with a great curbside score.
I picked up this dresser on the side of the curb! I was so excited. It was so heavy and all wood. I knew it could be beautiful when I was done.
The first thing I did was clean it up. It cleaned up very well and whatever adhesive that was spilled on the top scraped right off.
Next, I used two different County Chic Paint colors on the outer shell and the drawers. I used white paint to paint to add interest to the front of the drawers.
I also added some new knobs. You can see the entire transformation on my blog post.

Very pretty, very nice! I'd love a small chest of drawers like this to hold my drawing supplies. Feet, or no feet, what you've done with something that was thrown away is nothing short of awesome :-)

Pretty job!!! I live 20 minutes from you!!! DO you order online paints or is someone in town ...I am in no way trying to take business from you as I want to do MY own furniture for my family!!!! Glad to see all your wonderful ideas and this dresser is great!! I have read other blogs from you!!! I have used Martha Stewart and Annie Sloan! Do they sell CeCe Caldwell anywhere?

@Barbara P I have worked with a paint company called Country Chic Paint. I have used so many paints. I just got some sent to me from General Finishes and Velvet Finishes so I am excited to try them.
