    issue. It is very bad idea for termites. Because what happens is the termites eat through tjhe styrofoam and travel undetected in the foem to the house. And when you treat them you can't make the chem,ical penetrate the foam to complete the barrier> I have phsically removed that on 6 homes last year to stop the termites. Also what is the need of that in your area is it even cold enough to warrant that type of insulation needs

    Try using weather stripping. That should work
