Super cute, and fun for different seasons! -
I have a neighbor, who has been making beautiful versions of these for about 4 yrs.She sells them at First Monday trades Day in Canton Texas -
Very cute! And nicely done. I like the idea of changing it up for the seasons. I've got some windows up in the attic that I've wanted to use for something like this but they are oversized. I'll have to get one of my sons to bring them down and we shall see what we can do with them! -
Very nice!! -
This project looks like a lot of fun and easy to do. Several months ago, someone had a stack of old windows on the side of the road that said "take me, free" and I didn't pick them up. I have regretted not getting those "free" windows ever since! -
love this - nicely done - and I love the one in Janet M's storefront. -
What a great piece for interior or exterior.....I love seeing re purposed items.....and Thank you for posting, I was feeling a little bit homesick ( grew up in Trumbull ) -
Really cute. I love little "houses" and these fit the bill. -
If I'm not mistaken, once when ai looked up info on terrariums, up came a photo of an old fashioned one called a "ward" I think and it was the saem idea only leaded. it was a leaded glass house. I'll try to find the photo and post it. -
ok so I was right - in Victorian times they called terrariums - Wards or Wardian Cases and also called them Vivariums - pictures below and here's the link - http://www.stormthecastle.com/terrarium/terr... -
