Adding Beadboard to Bookcases
Several have asked about the beadboard we have on the backs of our bookcases. I thought I would show you how we did it. - - - I really like this project. Super easy.

I have an oak microwave hutch with the doors above for decorative items. I painted the inside a lighter color and after I had done it I couldn't believe I hadn't done it years before. What a difference it makes, you can now see the decorations inside. Of course, my husband couldn't believe I had done it, in his eyes, it was a mistake to paint it.

Men really are funny about painting wood of any kind. I am sure it looks amazing. I really like the lighter color of mine.
