Great pictures. I order photo cards thru Snapfish or Shutterfly with my favorite photos - they always show family pics on Christmas cards but I put butterfly and birds pictures on plain cards. Love them - you can get 5 X 7 size or 4 x 6 folded cards and once you start using them, they are always sending you offers for good deals or freebies.
Victoria - oh My!!! That barn is just so . . . . . . geez, I really can't even think of the right word or words to describe this gorgeous structure - a true iconic representation of Americana!! Rusty tin roof, sagging boards - the vines are probably what's holding it together in places. Reminds me of an old old lady whose life is etched in every wrinkle & line on her lovely serene face!! I think you captured the essense of this so well! Congrats - I think you have the camera figured out too!!!
Love these pics. I SO wish that I had pictures of the old barns and houses that stood along the dirt road where I grew up. These barns look a lot like them. I can picture them so clearly in my head, but I'd love to be able to show my son one day. He loves hearing stories about when I was a little girl.
I also love the Old barns, My sis in law is Photographer so I would drive and she take the pics, we did many in blk and wht aand framed them in my cabins.
I love old barns! My former husbands aunt n uncle converted a barn into a home in an exclusive area in Conn. on a canal. They did a beautifull job! The railing for stairway was made from the rope from a cruise ship. Uncle Sam's boat was used in the old 60's tv series, The Harbor Master. I am so happy that people are utilizing old barns or using it's timber.
