If you the look of vintage milky green glass... but not the price, this project is for you! You can transform plain Mason Jars into Faux Jadeite jars that are economical to make and very useful!
You'll need some Mason Jars. I like this wide mouth 16 oz pint size:
Clean and dry your Mason Jars and gather your supplies.
You'll need Krylon Metalllic Spray Paint, Mason Jar, Americana Decor Multi-Surface Paint Satin Paint in Melonball, chalkboard labels and chalk marker.
Step 1: Spray paint the lid(s)
Step 2: Turn the jar(s) upside down and paint them, including the bottom,. This will take 3-4 coats (letting the paint dry completely between each application).
Step 3: Add a chalkboard label the jar if desired.
Enjoy your cheap and chic "Jadeite" pieces! They would be great for organizing craft supplies, office supplies... almost anything!
Enjoyed the project?
