How I Gave My Ceiling Fan a Farmhouse Style

how I turned my ceiling fan into a rustic farmhouse style lighting fixture. Recently the kitchen has taken on a new farmhouse style, which I am loving! There is just something about this style of decor that gives a warm homey feeling. I really think I have found my style " a little farmhouse" and of a bit of elegance. It started with this adorable table I found at a local thrift store and it just escalated from there.
Now with the new table I felt like the lighting need to be changed to reflect a farmhouse style as well. To see full tutorial on how this was done you can see that over at my blog One More Time Events just go to http://www.onemoretimeevents.com/?p=11331
Here is a before picture from Home Depot http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-Brookhurst-52-in-Indoor-Oil-Rubbed-Bronze-Ceiling-Fan-YG268-ORB/205316900?N=5yc1vZbvlqZ1z13ny0 As you can see the blades are much longer, but to make it fit the kitchen area the blades were shortened.
