Any fun ideas for using crochet/knitting string?

I was given a box of this crochet/knitting string. Does anyone have any fun, crafty ideas?

Soak the sting in a bowl with inexpensive white glue (school glue). Blow up balloons, drape the string around and around the balloons, leaving gaps. Hang the balloon up for the string to dry. When dry, pop the balloons and putt them out through the entry hole. These can be used alone for decor, or hang them up on clotheslines or string, or around hanging lights.

Many Christmas ball ornaments of mine had seen better days. So I wrapped them with colorful string until completely covered. I also thought you may want to try tacking nails in a board in the shape of something like a butterfly, or in simple lines or circle. String from nail to nail around each and on to the next nail and around, it's fun to make up patterns or just all over with no order. See what you come up with.

How thick is it? Macramé is making a comeback. Maybe macramé some hanging pot plant holders? Or could macramé a hanger for a terracotta pot saucer to make a bird feeder to hang up in a tree? String art on a board, using nails to wrap the string around? Or learn to crochet?

Thanks for the answers, but I'm still hoping for more ideas. It is thin like kite string and the spools are either white or off white.

Use it instead of ribbon to wrap gifts with bows, to tie flowers together, to string a tag on keys, with a hole punch for gift tags, to make art on embroidery hoops, to hang a ball of twine on a hook, string something pretty and use as garland. For children, string beads, wrap around barrettes, wrap around bangle bracelets, make a kite and tail. For outdoors, tie tomato plants, tie netting around shrubs in the winter, tie saplings to anchor them, and tie a wreath on your door. Use it till its gone.
