Project Turquoise Desk
We are suckers for a great Craigslist deal so when we ran across this very colorful desk for $25 Matt snatched it up.
Using a heat gun he stripped all of the paint off and sanded the top until it was silky smooth.
We applied a base coat and top coat. After giving it a good chance to set up we distressed the base and added a coat of PolyShades to the top and an additional coat of polycrylic to seal the entire piece.
The end result is one of my favorite pieces in our home.
