Ideas on organizing jewelry using pallet board?!

I am thinking a small pallet painted and hung on a wall with either vintage looking knobs to hang necklaces bracelets and or some coat hooks in a row a small screen tucked between the slats (HUNG horizontal) will hold pierced earrings wires or posts

There are places that make pallets but also you can look on craigslist and get pallets for free that people don't want anymore.
