Rustic Ikea Ekby Shelf Hack

I love how easy Ikea shelves are to install, but I wanted my shelves in Jens' room to be more rustic. I bought the following and made my own:
Since the brackets are unfinished wood, I simply spray painted them with Krylon Gold and they looked brassy and wonderful
