Shari on Nov 03, 2012There is a little battery operated gadget, sometimes called a "sweater shaver" or "fabric shaver," which works much like the beard trimmer KMS Woodworks mentioned. Do an internet search and you will find various models sold everywhere. Locally, you can probably find them at any of the drug stores (Walgreens, CVS etc.). Target and Walmart. will likely have them too. I've had mine so many years I can't even remember where I got it. (Edited to add: I bet Joann Fabrics has them also.) Personally, it would be just my luck I'd ruin my sweater(s) if I tried to use scissors or a razor. On another note...I'm from St. Pete! Lived there my whole life until 3 years ago when we moved to a little country town about 20 minutes east of Tampa. I sure do miss it (and the wonderful 4th Street Publix)!Helpful Reply
