Dropcloth Valance Hung With Mason Jar Lids

I was in a pickle a few weeks ago when I was working on my dining space. I was cleaning some things and was changing out the valance when the rod fell out of the wall. I have hung and rehung that rod so many times, but the drywall just won't hold for some reason. So, I had to come up with a quick solution. I stared at the wall for the longest time, then finally I remembered that I had these cute mason jar lids in my craft stash, and they had a hole right in the middle...so that's how this dropcloth valance was hung...with mason jar lids.

It ended up being the perfect touch!

I love the valance, very beautiful.....but your room and valance would look soooo much nicer if you moved your display cabinet. I find there is so much going on in that room that your eye can't focus on any one thing 😉
