Small Kitchen Storage Hacks

When you live in a small home or apartment, storage can get tricky. I havee found some fun and unconventional ways to maximize the storage in our kitchen, and wanted to share them with you! Also...what do you think of the new grey cabinets? It's quite the departure from my white cabinets with turquoise insides, but I kind of love them!
I love to cook, so I have tons of gadgets, supplies and of course, food to store. I had to really max this space as much as possible. Since I'm also a very visual person, I like to see what I have available.
I hung this IKEA rail above my stove to use that wasted space to hang my measuring cups and spoons along with my Grandmommy's rolling pin that I love.
I used some pretty Homegoods stacked canisters to house my spices and breadcrumbs.
Don't forget to use the sides of your refrigerator. I use the side closest to the stove to hold some spices in magnetic containers, and I hang some strainers there for quick access.
Above my sink, I hung my chalkboard menu made from an old mirror so my family always knows what to expect for dinner. I also some little colanders on each side of this little nook for quick berry and veggie washing. Notice...I hid the paper towels above the sink (they are hidden a little bit). At last, someone like me! Woo-oo! So my need to have items around me is being a 'visual person'! I will be sure to tell my minimalist children!! What a self affirming post. Thank you Mom4Real. How guilty I have felt. You've given me permission to be me! You have restored my self esteem in more ways than you know!
