Guest Bath Wall Gets "Framed"

Guest bath frame wall incorporates window frame and sink mirror in design. Even toilet paper roll gets framed!
Picked out assorted frames I had stored for a special project and laid out on garage floor within measurements of the wall space I had to work with.
Painted all the frames the same color so the eye went to the shapes and not jarred by all the different colors in the serene riverside wall color chosen.
I took some small link chain that I had on hand and painted it white, for a more nautical look for this riverside decor, then put eye hooks at the tops and bottoms of frames to hang the chain and cut chain as needed for the frames to hang evenly. The chain connected all of the frames together.
For the framed mirror over the sink, I added the painted chain with small nails and glue around the mirror rim, then in the corners of the mirrors for fun, I cut off bottoms of water bottles and added as "rosettes" in the corners of the mirror. The rosettes looked like glass to match the vintage glass knobs I had on the antique commode I used as the sink vanity.
I used a few more empty painted frames over the toilet and the towel rack framing the color of the wall as the "art" Even the framed mirror over the sink had a separate frame surrounding it! The buyer of this Parade Home loved it and kept the bath just how designed....the best complement!

Taylor @ TayRose Design on Jan 30, 2017Thank you Christina! I had so many frames not knowing what to do with them, then finding more at thrift stores and garage sales, and when painted all the same color, it helped bring some texture and fun to an otherwise small little wall in a powder bath.
