Antique Sewing Machine Table

This antique sewing machine table was in rough shape when I found it. The hinges on the top were broken and the top was literally peeling off. Sometimes it's hard to see the potential in a piece but you just have to have a little faith. :)
The before. The top actually was a sticker over mahogany! I ended up scraping the sticker off, sanding the top down, and staining it with Java Gel from General Finishes.
There's not a whole lot to these little tables so I wanted the drawer front to be the focal point. I used Modge Podge to attach a piece of script scrapbook paper and then lightly distressed it before sealing. It's the knob that really catches the eye though! Just love it!
Here's an after of the top. Such a huge difference and what a pretty piece of wood!
The color on this table was a custom mix from a few colors I had left over. You can find this piece on my blog.

PS---> I also love the stack of drawers underneath. What are they?
