Re-purposed Bunk bed ladder
I have been wanting a vintage ladder for some time, but wouldn't pay $100+ I was seeing. This re-purposed bunk bed ladder makes a great extra towel holder in a guest bath.
While shopping at a Habitat Restore I found this bunk bed ladder for $10. It isn't vintage, but it is oak.
I cut the ladder at the arrow on the photo. I made the repairs, painted it with Annie Sloan's Coco chalk paint, distressed and top coated the ladder.

I did the same thing with a ladder from my kids bunk beds...painted it red, distressed it and now it holds throws in my living room. I've also seen the pricey ones and glad I just repurposed something I already owned.

Thanks for sharing this! I really hadn't thought of using this until I saw it at the thrift store. I know your ladder is so pretty! Great idea!
