The many quirky uses of a mason jar

A mason jar is most certainly NOT just a mason jar if you quirk it up. Here are a few fun tips to help you get the most out of what they have to offer, with even more samples on the blog.
Aqua mason jars are especially gorgeous as flower vases outdoors or in window sills. Take advantage of that magical light through the glass!
The jars are especially beautiful if you add faux snow with white mini lights behind them. I call these 'safe candles' and they positively glow! (full picture on the blog)
Here's one you may have not seen yet. Clothespins and raffia inside water?!
It adds fun casual interest, so why not?
Groupings give impact, such as these jars placed inside a vintage sewing drawer.
Is there anything a mason jar can't do?! I doubt it.

I actually use my jars for canning, but I do get one that is chipped or just to old to use so these would be a great way to retire them.
