Vintage Door Headboard

I attached an old door, complete with chipping and peeling paint, to some old fenceposts to make a new headboard for my guest room.

I love that the fenceposts are original to our farm. They were here long before we were, and now they're getting a new life instead of going to the trash pile.

Very cool idea. I've seen doors used for tables and other furniture before but never for a headboard.
