Hey Dee...no I didn't. You just glue the tree to the inside of the lid.

what size jar is this and where did you get the tree ? -
How did you get the glitter to stick to the inside of the jar? If you don't have it stick, then all the glitter will fall to the bottom when you stand it up. Looks like you adhered some of it to the inside of the glass. -
My girlfriend and I give a snow globe to each other every Xmas I love this idea now I can make them and she will have one of kind snow globe
