I recently found two old doors in a construction dumpster on the side of the road. After doing a bit of prep work with the old paint (including scraping and sanding for days and days) I ...»
decided on a coffee table design that was so easy to assemble. The only power tool I used was an electric drill. I was able to use parts from both of the doors for all of the wood parts of the coffee table and keep as much of the rusty old hardware on as possible. I added casters to the coffee table to make it easy to maneuver. You know when someone wants to clean in here. I'm not sure who that person is, but I thought I was being very thoughtful with the caster decision. :) #ProudestDIY

You could also take those old doors and make an Armoire of them, or a desk, end tables, or use ...»
them as walls to a home in a basement maybe. I like the idea of re purposing things. in my day we called it recycling, I guess that word isn't up to date with our times now.
