Did you know that white pumpkins dont stay white? After purchasing several white pumpkins for my fall mantel and table top decor...I was disappointed that they began to turn yellow with age. I found the best way to keep them white, and preserve them with...you guessed it, chalk paint and or spray paint! I saw some white pumpkins in Walmart and thought it would be cool to spray paint with gold glitter paint, I'm going back today to see what they have left. Thanks for the great tip.

I purchased some white pumpkins last year and wanted to spruce them up. I bought a package of paper doilies and black craft paint. I taped the doilies over the stem and stenciled over the doily. Came out so lacy looking and took away the boredom. The tied black and white ribbon around the stem in a bow. So cute.
