I do most of my shopping inthe Clarksburg/Bridgeport area. Actually it is the Meadowbrook Mall, it is literally not even 5 minutes from our house. We live off the same exit. I usually go to Pittsburgh on 2-3 big shopping trips per year. Fall, Christmas, and spring. Especially for clothing. Our mall does not offer much.

I think my sister-in-law likes to go to Columbus with a couple of girlfriends when they're doing major shopping. Parkersburg has grown some but has still sort of managed to 'stand still in time'. I still like the feel of a small town though. When we moved here we thought we were getting far enough out that it would be forever before we were over taken by big box stores & shopping centers. Ha!!
