What is this flower?

I know I planted this vine but I be darned if I can remember, or figure out, what it is. I love it because it is slow growing and even though I planted it in the spring it didn't start blooming until about a month ago. The long lasting flowers have held up well even though we have had several nights of freezing temps. I like it when I can find something that is pretty this time of year when everything else is dying.

Kim, it certainly is pretty. Very different - do those little pod thingies open up or is that just the way it is??? I can't help you either except to add to the admiration!!

It reminds me of bleeding hearts. The shape of the bloom. This is really a beautiful plant. You are a lucky lady.
