$0 Recycled Spice Jar Solution

1 Hour
Easy
My spice cupboard was a mess, so I came up with a pretty way to organize my spices that didn't cost me a cent!
Using a whole lot of baby food jars that I've cleaned and stored, I made some lovely spice jars with DIY chalk finish paint and free printable labels.
I painted the baby food jars with DIY chalk finish paint (the recipe I use for that is on my blog). 2 coats was perfect, and I find that it doesn't scratch or chip on the metal lids at all.
I found these lovely chalkboard spice labels online, and printed them on sticker paper and adhered them to my newly painted lids.
Doesn't my spice drawer look SO much more organized... and it matches my kitchen too! Bonus!

i BUY CERTAIN SPICES BY THE POUND (ORGANIC) AND USE QUART JARS, USUALLY 2 JARS PER POUND. iT IS CHEAPER T BUY BULK AND i USE A LOT, ESPECIALLY CINNAMON, GINGER, TURMERIC, CAYENE FOR MY DIABETES.
