Create a Pallet Wall

There once was this boring old wall with a air vent and some beautiful {if I don't say so myself!} artwork. I needed a change!
So this is what I was working with. This is a dividing wall that needed a bit of help...I knew I had to liven the space up with the help of this wall. As a professional painter for the past 14 years I knew I needed to change it up a bit....
So what would any DIY'er do? Go searching for Pallet Wood! It's super inexpensive {most of the time FRE!} so this was definitely within my budget!

Once I arrived home with the trailer full of pallets the next step was to clean them. TO do this I used a pressure washer in my driveway and let them dry for a day or two. All I can say is I'm thankful for not having neighbors when I do things like this!
Once the pallets were broken down (visit my website below for how to do this easily!) the wall went up really quick. Sure the pieces needed to be trimmed to fit the wall and to fit the outlet and vent, but, that's about all their was as far as labor was involved.
I really do love that artwork. I insisted that it be hung back up and so glad that it did. It's often talked about with guests that stop over. I love that the entire project cost just a couple of bucks and a few hours. Not to mention it adds a nice texture and color to the otherwise boring space!
What a difference right?!?

Be sure visit my website below for the entire process and for more projects you can complete this weekend using pallets!

I love the pallet wall but can I ask where the 3 wall decorations came from?

WOW! What a great idea. You're artwork definately needed to be hung back up. I think you're talented hands can faux paint those grates to resemble the wood. Then your adder would really pop.
