My house needs a new septic system..... Will a company be willing to put one in when it will not be easy?

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Nov 15, 2012The septic engineer will determine where and how the system is to be installed. In NJ, because of the excessive construction and elevated water tables as a result. Almost all septic systems in my area are raised bed systems with pump installed to send the effluent to the raised bed. As far as getting someone in to do it, I do not think you will have any issue with that, Your only issue is what it will cost you to have it done. NJ septic systems are round $40,000 and up. A lot of money for a hole in the ground. But engineers and materials are getting quite expensive. Not to forget the electrical power that will be needed to do all the pumping.Helpful Reply

Elizabeth Dwyer Simpson on Feb 18, 2014Good Morning, I would be sure to get more than one estimate. Really do a lot of inquiring. Check out what others and especially "old timers" in your neighborhood who have had experience. I live in MA. and our septic system is very, very old as is the house.Helpful Reply
