Dishwasher

I have an older dishwasher abt 12 yrs. it has door to open and close but then there's this extra piece at the bottom that has fallen off. I can pick it up and put back on hinges but then it falls right off again. is there anything I can do about it?

I'd put a blob of silicone on the ends of the panel where it meets the hinges.

Heavy duty glue or magnets might even do the trick.

You could try using adhesive velcro strips. That would allow you to remove the panel if needed. They are easy to find, WM,etc.

i wished I'd thought of that before i ordered the sugru.. but i think the sugru will work, jst a little more expensive. but definitely worth it if it works! i had to order it on line, i'm still waiting for it to come in.i'll let u kno hw the sugru works ..thanks guys

thanks for all the wonderful advice for dishwasher bottom door. I tried them all.. metal glue, double sided tape, Velcro, sugru .. they all held for about one day but it fell down again. I'm going to try a magnetic dishwasher cover to cover the whole door. I pray it works.. thanks again everybody
