Taking everyday items or "junk" and making it into something cute, quirky and useful.

I needed a container for my wheat grass. I wanted it to be something that looked nice and went with our overall style. I decided this old, wooden cd box would make the perfect container and I could even personalize it with paint and a few "junk" items laying around the shop.
Some paint, some junk hardware and the perfect "cheeky" saying make this a welcome addition to my kitchen window.
Plain old wooden cd box - probably from the early 90's!
I love my morning coffee, it's true. I also love taking old, beat up, past it's prime stuff, and re-creating it into something fun and useful.
It's perfectly imperfect right next to the coffee station.

This looks great. Not sure it's totally honest, though. Is it possible to love anything more than your morning coffee?

Haha, Steve...definitely, but only AFTER you've had your morning coffee. Right!?
