Studio Ideas
I'm desperately in need of a studio shed and am looking for architectural plans and ideas. Advice, suggestions? I'd like to steer clear of the cookie cutter Home Depot / Lowes sheds (although they can be cute too!) and use as much salvaged material as possible.

Someone on Hometalk used a $1,500 metal "storage unit" to make a shed/studio and they used recycled windows and doors etc. Having built a 950 sq. ft studio/art gallery (note this has a bathroom, a.c., furnace, a kitchenette and storage in the attic, gravel driveway, barrier free egress pad, 36" doorways, barrier free bathroom, sidewalks and is barrier free to meet building codes) that cost $52,000, 10 years ago. So I thought that $1,500 to start sounded really reasonable. Research along those lines too, if you have any interest.

I think you can turn a wooden shed into a studio with a few Windows and a sliding glass door and some cheap cedar shingles
