How do I fix Thermofoil kitchen cabinets?

They are plastic molded over pressed wood and they are buldging (not the wood underneath), just the thermofoil. How do I fix it or where can I get new doors made or fixed?

We had to have our doors & drawers re-faced. This is just replacing the door & drawer fronts, keeping the frame work. Even after updating the handles & knobs, it was still less expensive that replacing the whole cabinet. Good Luck! Let us know what you decide.

We had our cabinets refaced in another house several years ago. Home Depot did the work through their network of contractors. They were very professional and the work done in the time quoted. I would start with them and see if it is in your budget to proceed that route. Good luck.

@Liliana Wells Did you have new thermofoil put on, or whole new doors and if so were they thermofoil? I am thinking if I can't find anyone to fix I may rip the thermofoil off and try to paint them, or have it painted professionally. Seems like somone could fix them, just 4 doors, hate to redo whole set, they are bottom cabinets, but unfortunately not all together, but maybe I could just do bottom ones.

I believe the new ones were thermofoil. It was so long ago that I could be mistaken. These are washable though. I would take one of the doors and go to Home Depot and talk to one of the cabinet people. If they were in good condition, they could probably be painted; but I am not sure about repairing them. But Home Depot would be a place to start. I love that store. Do you have any pictures?

Can brown glaze look on white thermfoil, and how does it look. I think thermofoil cabinets look cheper and I want to improve their looks. Any suggestions???
