You May Have Termites and Not Even Know It

In the 1990s, there were foam-like boards being installed behind the exterior baseboards of various homes. This foam is now banned and no longer used in home creation for different reasons. For one, the foam gives termites easy access. Below is a picture of a home we worked on that was built in the '90s and therefore had this type of foam-like board installed. When we peeled the boards back, sure enough there were termites. If you have a home that was built in the 90s and you're currently having work done on it, consult with your contractor to see if you've got termites and don't even know it!
