Tiny Bathroom Before & After

When my friend Leslie decided to redo her bathroom, she only got to stripping wallpaper before she lost interest. There it sat for about 2 years until I suggested I give her a hand to get it done.
Here is a look at the before! I think you will agree it was long over due for a makeover.
Yes, that is writing on the wall. It really was a cute little blue and yellow bathroom before she decided to tear down the paper. Her friends decided to leave her messages since they knew eventually she would get around to getting it done!
There are a ton more after photos over on the blog at Red Cottage Chronicles, but I think you will agree the after is pretty darn cool! We spent around $1000 with the bulk of that going towards new faucets and lighting.
Leslie's home is warm and inviting and full of fun antiques and collectables. It was fun to shop her house to style the room. With spring just around the corner, but the ground still covered in snow, the spring flowers were a welcome touch.
The claw foot tub got a makeover with fresh paint right down to the "chrome" feet!
The mirrors we added help to visually expand the space making it feel bigger than its' 5 by 7 1/2 feet!

Wonderful restoration more than renovation, you did a fantastic job - a little jealous living in a "newer" house, they just don't have the character of older homes, love it.

You are a good friend.......and you all did a great job. I live in a rental house built in 1763, I am only joking. But sometimes it sure feels like it. It has a tiny tiny bathroom also and I don't know what to do.
