How do I safely clean a overstuffed chair?
There is coffee on my living room cloth chair. What is safe to use but not harm stuffing under the fine cloth that covers the chair?

there should be a lable on the chair, usually found under the cushion, and it should have a fabric code. This code will tell you what type of cleaner can be used.

for small spots I use Shout. Depends on the fabric

I've always used shaving cream to clean cloth upholstery. Just squirt a small amount on and scrub with a damp cloth. No excess water and it cleans well. No guarantees on coffee but works well for dirty upholstery.
