How to Mix Fabrics and Pull a Room Together

1. Geometric prints are always a go to for me. I love the way they give a room a coastal vibe. Here I choose orange.
2. I chose a floral print that has orange in it and purple. My client loves purple! the background has a muted purple with a gray undertone.
3. I then added a solid purple with a fun geometric trim in orange to pull the collection of pillows together.
4. I added a fun rug with a chevron pattern to anchor the space. and I kept the large upholstery in a neutral fabric. along with an accent chair in purple and drapes in a silver purple. Did I say my client loves purple!
5. Remember how I chose the floral print and drapes with a smokey color purple? That is because I knew I would be using a gray on the walls. Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore. I added seafan prints with the colors in the room along with orange accessories and a Sideboard with a geometric pattern. Also a seahorse lamp to bring in a coastal feeling. What do you think?
