The tiles are white and the putty/ grout between the tiles is dark green. Is there a way to lighten or change the color of the grout without tearing out all the tiles?

  • @Debra...The boyfriend says yes you can change the color of the grout. He does tile for a living and there is a product that changes the color of your grout. Its called AquaMix and comes in quite a few different colors.

I did believe you can by tile grout paint. Check out a recent post at www.creatandbabble.com. She recently renewed her "dirty looking" grout with fresh white.

Iv done this before, I just scraped the old grout out and replaced it with the new...its not as time consuming as it sounds and very worth it :)

Go to Home Depot and buy Polyblend Grout Renew. This product is made to change grout color or to renew old stained grout. It works great. I've used it twice and it's easy to do and looks like new grout. Lots of colors available.
