DIY Painted Coffee Cups

I love the look of those hand-painted coffee cups that are so popular now, and I've been wanting to make my own for a long time. Most of them are created with Sharpie markers, but I used paint pens that I already had, and I just love how these painted coffee mugs turned out!
You can find plain white mugs just about anywhere, from the Dollar Store to your local thrift store. I got mine at Cost Plus, and they were easy to work with.
My daughter and I worked on these together, and we chose our favorite saying to write on the mugs. I wrote Love U More on one of the mugs and Love U Most on the other. Then, my little helper added some extra bling with a gold paint pen.
I used the oven to set the design, and they're holding up pretty well so far, even after being washed. This would make a cute Valentine's Day gift for your favorite coffee or tea lover. Actually, my daughter has cocoa in hers, while I have coffee in mine! You can find more details about the process on my blog. :)
