I found this 1980's hutch on Craigslist and knew a fresh coat of chalk paint would be the best medicine for bringing her back to life! Using Annie Sloan's Old Ochre for the body and oil-rubbed bronze spray paint for the hardware, the hutch immediately became the focal point of our kitchen!

This is beautiful! Could you tell me how much paint to buy for a project this size? I'm new to chalk paint and have a similar hutch that I want to paint.

What a great make over! It really updates it with new color and the painted bronze hardware. Well done.

Beautiful! Everyone is doing such spectacular work on rehabbing old Ethan Allen hutches - mine is still sitting in my basement waiting for my rehab attention.......
