Chalkboard Contact Paper Projects; Chalkboard Without Having to Paint

Wanting to add chalkboard capabilities but not wanting to permanently alter your cabinets? You can do this with some specialized contact paper.
This is a blank freezer
I wanted to start with my freezer. I had no idea how the paper would cling and if it would do any damage so I figured safer to try on my freezer then to do it on my cabinets.

So it isn't perfect on here and I used a purple chalk pen. I will tell you it went on easy easy! I even pulled it off where there were major bubbles and reapplied. It really was that easy.
Interior of my pantry cabinet
I felt a little more emboldened by starting with the freezer and felt safe adding the contact paper to the interior of my pantry cabinet. I will use both of these locations to write down items that I need to shop for. Kind of a running grocery list where they are needed that I can check off before I go grocery shopping. This isn't a difficult project, but I put it off forever. If you are feeing uncomfortable or unsure, please just go ahead and try it.

If you get a really long grocery list just take a picture with your phone so you have it with you when you go to the store!

My son lives in an apt I would love to try this for my grandson. What store did you purchase?
